A lovely day in Sidmouth................

 Well here i am again at the beach,no surprize there then...

 I would love one of these......  

 a great British tradition,fish and chips on the beach....

 the children had fun .......

 as you can see......

 and Max had fun too.....

 next stop Otterton Mill....

 gorgeous..........

 and a lovely cup of coffee and fruity flapjack to finnish...perfect.

                        of Noirmoutier,off the coast of Beavoir Sur Mer.
                        What a fabulous place,reached by a 4km cause
                        way only passable when the tide is out.What
                         amazing fun,very popular with the locals.
                        I had the best swim ever off a beach at the far 
                        end of the island,so peaceful and idylic,it reminded
                         me of Cape Cod,heavenly...................

France 2

 Well here we are again,after a very rough ferry crossing,we arrived in Beavoir Sur Mer after a very long drive.Well worth all the travelling,a beautiful area famous for its salt marshes.The scenery is so beautiful, plenty of photo oppertunities.We like to pack a lot in to our trips,so after a typical French breakfast we set off early to explore every nook and cranny.
     The coastline is amazing with enormous beaches,perfect for windsurfing etc.you can walk for miles along promenades,admiring the different styles of beach huts,i even saw one for nappy changing,you wouldnt get that at home.Everywhere is so clean and tidy,a real pleasure.
       Just off the coast is an island reached by a 3km causeway,drivable at low tide,which we did.A tad scary when the tide is coming in ,not good if you get cut off half way across,which we didnt thank goodness.well worth a visit to such a lovely place.
       Lots more to see and do in the coming days,so back soon with more photos i hope. 

France Sept 11

 Here we are again in France,had to cross a large bridge.... 

 to see some beautiful sights....

 like this windmill......

 and this deserted beach....

 went to a lovely market....

 and saw these baskets.....

 every village and town has a water tower...

 thought this was sweet...

 I cant believe what fun i am having with this.........

A fun weekend...............

 what a fun weekend playing with the children....

 wasnt long before we relocated here.........

 then off to lunch here............

 isnt Court Farm lovely...........

 very pretty...........

 what a surprize to end up back here.....perfect.

                                        Well,at last i have had my swim at Shaldon.
                           No pics,but struck lucky with the tide and went 
                           for it.Straight in,absolutley beautiful,a very 
                            pleasant hour doing what i like best......

 After all that sightseeing,time for lunch,mmmmmmmmmmm 

 followed by a yummy ice cream....

 following that,back to the beach...

 for a spot of surfing.........

                                           

 surfs up at Widemouth Bay.......

 then off to Boscastle....lovely...

 what a fabulous place....

 gorgeous scenery...

 oh look,new crocs,bright and cheerful like me... 

 sweet cottage coffee shop....

 and a lovely National Trust shop....  a very nice day.
