Went here today to the craft show.Had a good time,it was very busy,hard to see some of the stands.Lots of different crafts on display,was looking for some wool,but thought it was very expensive.Saw a few quilting stands,was inspired to try something  new.Am looking forward to the next one,could do with a whole new stash of fat quarters like this .

Monday

I love my i pod,its so handy for blocking out unwanted background noise.Just choose your favourite music and loose yourself in your own little world.Heaven.Even better attach it to the shower curtain whilst soaking in a lovely bubble bath.double heaven.Two of lifes little pleasures.  

The weekend

What a lovely weekend enjoyed by us both.We are so lucky to have delightful grandchildren to spend time with.They are very entertaining and make us laugh with their funny comments.Not so good was the weather,dry but very chilly.Even so its a pleasure to be outside enjoying the fresh air.

  I am finding the month of January a tad dull,apart from the odd day of much welcome sunshine,so to while away the gloomy days till spring,a touch of shopping was called for.What you may ask caught my eye. Ta dah.........................

 Just what was needed to fill those gloomy days,a delightful book i first spotted in Canada,one of a series of delightful books to be treasured.What fun i shall have with this,what shall i make first......Oh how exciting.Thankyou Amazon for delivery so quickly,i shall get started right away...........................

Saturday part two.................

As well as the coffee we had a very pleasant day pottering in he lovely shops,discovering some new ones (very exciting ). I managed to buy some  wool in colours that i havnt got ( more excitment ) and amazingly found a coat that i liked after several years -i am not joking - of looking.On top of that ,lo and behold,a pair of shoes appeared as if by magic.Thats what i call a result ....................

 This is the book i am reading at the moment.Its very well written and very amusing.It was a christmas presant,but i would of chosen it myself,i like to have a book to read at all times,sometimes two.I have a pile lined up waiting,have also subscribed to Country Homes and Interiors magazine as a presant to myself.Will be taking lots of baths to fit in all this reading.

Yes,at last something has clicked into place.Had some intensive lessons and have found and easier way of doing things.More practice as soon as i get the chance.

Never to old to learn.........

Feel like i,m on a massive learning curve,cant believe how many new things i have learnt in the past week.Taking photos,transfering them to the laptop,cropping them and then putting them on facebook or this blog.I never knew how much fun it could be.thats not to mention the ipod(am loving that)the crochet,booking 2 holidays.What fun i am having !Still have loads to talk about(mostly to myself)and loads more photos to take and share.Its all good,am loving it.

2011

 Another day of  RAIN in sunny Devon.Lots of doooooom and gloooooom  EVERYWHERE.But not on this BLOG.Its sunshine all the way here.Time to look forward to an EXCITING new year.Lots to look forward to .Plenty of  Sewing to do,also crochet,a new PASSION.Lots of lovely HOLIDAYS to plan,lots of  fun to be had.BRING it on 2011 I cant wait.

Second attempt

Am feeling quite pleased with myself.I have managed to add a few more things and to move some things about.  Am determined to master this ,its quite enjoyable.Could do with the teacher (husband) to be a tad more patient though.

At last,up and running with my first blog.How exciting,after many months of thinking about it,i have finally got organized enough to set it up.(with help) lol.Next question,what shall i talk about,i am sure i will think of plenty of things ,but maybe next time as im still trying to figure it all out.Lets see if this works first.I may amaze myself.So,singing off for now,but will be back soon.
