saturday part three....................

Well ,today didnt turn out too bad after all.A trip to Exeter this morning to buy shoes,unsuccesful,but came home with a very nice garden chair.Visits to mother in law and sister,then off to Shaldon for fish and chips,finished off with a very nice bottle of wine and some chocolate.Then,home to a very pleasant quiet evening.Bliss..............  

Saturday part two.................

Well,here are the pics i was looking for,i was going to say,what a decision,sewing or crochet,but as usual something else came up and all that went pear shaped.Why do bank holidays bring out the worst in people.

 What lovely memories of a super holiday,thank goodness for cameras.Have been doing some reserch for our September trip,quite fancy Normandy,maybe near Honfluer,its looks like our sort of place..............Meanwhile this post was supposed to be about the new fabric and yarn i bought yesterday at the new Hobby and Craft shop,but due to a technical hitch,i cant find the pics i uploaded,its so anoying when your not quite sure what you are doing and theres noone around to help.At least i got this far,but would love a few more blogging tips..............    

Thursday................

Having the best time ever,we always manage to find a perfect corner of France to discover.Had a very funny incedent today.We were in a field taking some pics of artichokes,when a car pulled up and two very puzzled French farmer types asked us over and over (in french,didnt  understand a word) what we were doing.Eventually,i grasped the word choix,they thought that we were stealing their artichokes.Dont know who was more surprized them or us.The cherries were delicious .    

Ongoing day two............

 Mmmmm this looks yummy,salmon and brocolli quiche.. 

 

 Right,where shall we go today,okay you choose,a lighthouse if we must....

 Yes,i agree its a fine specimin.......

 but i,d rather look at these beautiful poppies....

 and then sit on this fabulous beach....

 something we both agree on......lunch alfresco......

 just enough time for some more sightseeing.....perfect.

Update

Having a super time here in France,the weather is perfect,the hotel is delightful,its a farm with converted barns etc for guests.The surrounding area is so picturesqe with a delightful views around every corner.More to follow soon...........not enough hours in the day.
